		<description>In practice I don't think I've ever used beagle except when it peeks at me the odd time in deskbar results. I'm with you in that I'm way too used to grep.</description>

		<description>I found Beagle background indexing to be annoying, so I removed Beagle. I suppose one could set the indexing to run when pc isn't being used. I am more of a fan of locate (seems to index much quicker), find and grep -r.</description>
