ShiftMode is the personal site of Brydon Gilliss. It’s a place to mill about in threads about software development and business in general.

The facts? I work in technology, specifically I write letters to computers asking them to do things for people. I fell into this after receiving my degree from the University of Guelph. I graduated smack in the middle of the dot com boom leading me into the lovely world of software development I now inhabit.

I work full-time at BrainPark where we’re creating space for our clients to think. I’m a partner in BandOfCoders who’ll build software for you. I organize and host DemoCampGuelph events which were inspired by DemoCampToronto. I live in Guelph, Ontario with my wife and two children. Please say hi or follow me on twitter.
